Customization

Every Masthead theme can define its own configurable tokens. These tokens describe the options a theme exposes, such as colors, logos, contact information, spacing, or even more advanced values like selected tags and uploaded files.

When a theme is installed, Masthead automatically renders a customization page based on those token definitions. Theme authors don’t need to build a settings interface themselves—they simply describe the available options in the theme manifest, and Masthead takes care of the rest.

This allows each theme to expose exactly the configuration it needs while keeping the editing experience simple for site owners.
